Boris is a pig mercenary from the visual novel GameOver. Known for being brutish and overbearing, he usually does things his own way and crudely so. He will take every opportunity to use sexual innuendos and will push for having some fun whenever the potential for an encounter arises. He also is a bit bloodthirsty and lusts for the battle that he's currently not seeing while in town outside of the times he goes out foraging with you. He has one Bad End to discover.
Background
While only a little bit is known about Boris' family and culture, there does seem to be a degree of openness between them that makes it okay to share sexual partners (presumably ones that aren't related to family members). Boris will comment in one scenario on how if he spends too much time intimately with you, his Dad will get angry at the monopolization of your body.[1] He will also bring up how his brother is kinkier than he is and into a number of things that maybe you shouldn't be exposed to.[2] This openness very much extended to him growing up as well, since he notes the time his father became sexually active right at the dinner table in front of everyone.[3]
Questlines
After having met Vandeel[4] and spoken with Vince about his private fantasies,[5] you can get sassed by Vandeel while working[6] and then encounter Boris for the first time as a customer who has been waiting for a long time for his axes to be enchanted.[7] Then, once you've unlocked Foraging through getting the quest from Reynard,[8], you can then follow Boris over to the Tavern and, so long as Goswin isn't there at the same time, you'll be able to officially meet the boar. Whereupon he will immediately proposition you and you'll have to at least slightly talk him down to being your foraging partner, which he agrees to and continues propositioning you.[9]
He won't be interested in further conversation with you until you take him on that foraging trip and then decide to "reward" him for his efforts at the end of the trip, with some variant interactions for those with watersports unlocked.[10] He compliments your skills as such afterwards and suggests you take it professional when the brothel opens.[11] If you did the alternative watersports interactions with him, he brings up his enjoyment of it and also suggests you could join his mercenary group. Boris then ruminates on the reason why he's never been given a trainee must be because they wouldn't be getting any real training done with how sore they'd be.[12] After multiple foraging sessions, he complains about how he's not getting enough fighting action and his gut isn't going down at all due to his lazing about. He considers joining the adventuring groups dealing with the demons in the forest during downtime when he's not hired by you.[13]
Be careful you don't go overboard when foraging with Boris and letting him work you over or you may find yourself a permanent companion to the mercenary at his home, possibly with a number of children if you have the mpreg trail unlocked.[1] Your conversation with Boris after resetting this alternative history is awkward, as you both feel like you've been physically intimate in ways that clearly haven't happened yet.[14] After this, a significant amount of the text when foraging and rewarding Boris will change to be more intimate[15] and an alternative reward scene will become available.[16] You can also now hang out with him at the Tavern and go through a number of different hangout spots before inevitably ending up back at his room.[17] Once you've completed all of his play scenes, he'll discuss enjoying his time with you and you'll consider inviting Boris on a date with you after cooking up some food.[18] If you're into Boris' kinkier watersports action during his play scenes, he'll discuss the idea of parading you around town to showcase what he did to you, though states that he's okay with other people playing with you as well.[2]
Bringing a Spicy Berry Pork Skewer to your pig friend will let you start a "date" with him, though he'll immediately start accosting you sexually anyways, out in public no less. He enjoys the food though.[19] Unfortunately, he enjoys the public attention so much that he's all for making you go overboard with others watching in the future as well.[3]
