Voltor
Voltor is a hyena town resident from the visual novel GameOver. A pet of the unnamed Naga, his large stature requires him to walk on all fours in most cases, which also reveals his more bestial nature. Not able to communicate with words, telepathic conversations are the only ones available outside of nonverbal communication that he is capable of with canines. Highly interested in you as a potential mate, his only thoughts seem to be in doing the deed with you and little else. But perhaps there's more to his backstory, abilities, and intelligence than meets the eye.
Questlines
The first encounter with the large specimen of a man takes place during Kubas' investigation questline. He will be initially found by following either Shlar's stealth route[1] or by being informed of Voltor and the Naga by Sparky.[2] After speaking with Kubas once either route has been taken,[3][4] a new option will appear at the West Gate to stake out the still somewhat unknown visitors. This will lead to meeting Voltor properly after you accidentally fall asleep during your stakeout. The strange hyena with glowing marks will seem intimidating, but Diakor's encouragement will cause you to talk to him. When you start hearing the hyena's voice in your head, you wonder if [[Azlos]' prior centaur speaking potion also works on other species. After you decline his inquiry about eating you, Voltor suddenly declares that you both are mates and will forcibly take you to meet the Naga. The serpent says he'll allow Voltor to keep you as a pet, but you quickly interject that a home has been prepared for them in the Town. Though somewhat wary about doing so, the Naga agrees to go through the gate with you as a somewhat hostage and to have Geve get your leader. The guard returns with both Ran and Kubas and the discussion leads to the Naga agreeing to reside in the town and obey the rules therein. Kubas wonders what the purpose of this is and tells you to make friends with the pair and learn more about their intentions.[5]
Once you've spoken with Kubas directly about the new residents, he'll let you know about their location in town and add the Residential area to your map.[6] Looking around there will cause you to be tackled by a big pile of fur. Voltor, as before, is single-minded about both really liking you and really wanting to do naughty things to start a family as soon as possible. Before anything else can happen though, he suddenly tells you that his Master wants to speak with you.[7] This initial interaction will alter the options in the Residential area, allowing you to visit Voltor and the Naga separately. To go further with Voltor, the Mpreg kink must be unlocked. He will comment on how you smell ready to mate, but is confused on why you aren't actively willing to do so. Diakor recommends the action, but also gives you a warning on what you'll need to endure.[8]
Before allowing him to do untoward things to you, there are several further questions you can ask him. Questioning Voltor about his name, he'll explain that the Naga chose it because of the hyena's power over lightning, which is what causes his unique glow.[9] Then inquiring about the scars themselves, he says he received them from his family when his old Master told them to attack him and the Naga took him away to protect him.[10] The next step to be intimate will require not only the prior mentioned kink, but also the musk and inflation kinks in order to proceed. And Voltor certainly wastes no time in starting things.[11] Waking up with him in the morning, his enthusiasm will be interrupted by Geve, who will approve of your relationship and talk about his own sexual exploits with you. He also gives a graphic example to Voltor on how good you are at kissing by using you as a test dummy. Voltor then tries it out himself and nearly breaks you with how massive his tongue is. They then run out to go to work, leaving you with the decision on whether to stay or leave.[12] Bringing up the topic of tongues afterwards, Voltor points out his surprise at how good you are with your tongue, but also wonders if he should get more mates like the several that his Mom had.[13]
Your second time with the hyena has him explore other areas and the exertion has you fall asleep yet again.[14] To have an alternative wakeup scene, you will need to have a private interaction with Kubas,[15] which will cause the titular guard to arrive in the morning. He wonders about your tactics about getting closer to people, but then explains he's been having Voltor and Geve for his patrols. His kind of people has similar pets to the low mental function of those two, though he wonders if Voltor would grow more intelligent if he had less interaction with the mind controlling nature of the Naga. He suggests you take the hyena around the town more and get him more social interaction.[16] Voltor is quite happy about his kissing prowess after his innovation from your recent interaction and also notes how good of a friend he is with Geve.[17]
