Vince is a fox blacksmith in the visual novel GameOver.
Questlines
First encountering Vince at the Blacksmith shop, he informs you that he only does requested orders in the evening. You inform him that you're just looking around and he says he's glad there's still people visiting despite the fighting going on in the northern forest. And he's glad that it hasn't affected the cave he mines from in the west.[1] He questions your arrival through said forest and considers why you didn't see any of the fighting or monsters. His speculation is that, since you arrived before the fog rolled in, maybe you avoided the curse of illusion.[2] Bringing up this speculation with Azlos will intrigue the item shop owner and he decides to do some tests with producing the fog and seeing what effect that has.[3] Letting Vince know about this will surprise him and make him happy that his thoughts helped contribute.[4]
If you ask Vince if you can help out, he agrees and will even pay you 10 coins per session. He largely just has you move things around to better facilitate his blacksmithing work, including stoking the flames and replacing the cold water.[5]
