Reynard is a fox chef that works in Garius's bar in the visual novel GameOver. He offers the player special food and drink items after being given the required ingredients obtained via foraging outside the town. An outgoing and vivacious personality, this chef knows little of personal boundaries and certainly wants to get inside yours. Or yours inside his, however it goes.
Questlines
First encountering the fox in the Tavern's kitchen,[1] he is quite happy to talk all about you and quizzes you on your arrival. He describes you as the "mysterious stranger" who came in with the fog, but when you rebuke that claim, he becomes confused and wonders who the stranger actually was.[2] He's also very interested in what sort of guys you're into, and perhaps if you're into him, while also mentioning the local alchemist Azlos has potions that can help change your experiences tremendously.[3] He inquires about your involvement with the mercenary group in the northern forest, but you say that you never ran into them. He warns you to be careful, as they're a rowdy and handsy bunch, though he compliments the intelligence of their commanders.[4]
Azlos will give you a quest to obtain the results of the experiment he assigned to Reynard[5] and the fox will apologize for not reporting to him sooner as he got distracted by the "sensations". He highly recommends the transformation potions to you.[6]
