Waffurd is a rat clothier in the visual novel GameOver. Apprenticed to his adopted father Rutherfurd, he works hard to find his own techniques and style of his own for cloth-making. He is very excited to have someone around who shares his kinkier interests, along with someone wanting to do such things with him. The proclivities he has for certain assets and making them extremely large ensures that he makes good use of Azlos' potions whenever possible. He has two Bad Ends to discover.
Questlines
A Rat Behind The Scenes
Kept out of the limelight by his adoptive father, you'll only encounter Waffurd after getting the approval of Rutherfurd to work in his shop,[1], whereupon he will send you to the back to meet his rat son. He's busy working, but pauses to get you your uniform and introduce himself.[2] He quizzes you on your relationship with Rutherfurd and guesses at the physical interactions you two are having, expressing his own desire to do the same after having worked with the hippo for so long.[3] Then somehow you end up in a conversation about his prince albert piercing.[4] While such a piercing is not necessarily appropriate for a newly arisen member of nobility, Rutherfurd tries to support him in his interests, though Waffurd suspects the two of them moved to the Town to better obscure Waffurd's own lack of nobility.[5]
The rat finally discusses his backstory after you bring it up, explaining how his family lived in the slums and were very happy to see Waffurd get such an important job, along with his sisters receiving similar positions at the King's castle. The money he sends back to his family has helped improve their own well-being, with his father obtaining a better construction job. Even though they don't need the money anymore, he still sends it to them out of guilt for how much better his own living conditions remain compared to them.[6]
Getting Frisky With A Rat
In order to have some personal time with Waffurd, you must have the musk kink unlocked. Initially, there are only two options to have a little foreplay with him without things getting too messy. Additionally, both scenes will have the option for you to drink a bottle of familiar white liquid on his table afterwards.[7][8] So long as you have obtained the trait for transformation, you can talk to Waffurd after your play session and he will suggest using some growth potions on you next time you play to enlarge your posterior assets.[9] And if you did drink the bottle from his desk, he'll suggest that you get it from the source next time.[10] Making those play activities available though will both require the inflation trait so you can handle Waffurd's immense size and quantity. Throughout the experiences he lets you know more about the things he did back at the castle and the prostitutes he would hire to help him out, with one of them being a regular.[11][12]
Be careful you don't run out of stamina from his attentions though or you might find yourself a more permanent fixture in his bedroom.[13] Otherwise, he will have positive commentary to give you after each different play interaction with him. And he wants to let you help him out with some of his work, rather than taking up your time playing with him. Maybe even pursue a more romantic relationship too?[14]
Running A Shop With A Rat
Once Waffurd has asked his father if he can work at the front counter of the shop, freeing up time for Rutherfurd to work on new clothing designs,[15] he'll thank you for supporting him and apologizes for likely giving you more work to do in the shop due to his inexperience.[16] After Rutherfurd finishes up his cheat sheet for running the shop and gives it to you,[17] you can hand it off to Waffurd and he balks at its novel size length.[18] Separately from this, the confidence of running the shop will have him ask for some kinkier fun with you, suggesting you try out a shrinking potion once he learned about it from Kiel.[19]
Your first day working together turns out to be an unusually busy one and you also happen to briefly glimpse Burchill.[20] The rat comments on the large crowd after and once again thanks you for your help.[21] Your second day working is slightly less busy, with Waffurd complaining about having to move heavy boxes around and convincing you to do it for him. You also notice Burchill hanging around again and you aren't sure why.[22] Worn out from all the lifting, Waffurd will comment on how difficult all this work must have been for Rutherfurd and how he wishes the hippo had spoken to him about it. Clearly guilty about his past self's inaction, he quickly cuts off the conversation.[23]
From this point on, whenever you work with Waffurd and have spoken with him about the shrinking potions,[19] you'll both have a variety of options for some shrinking fun after work.[24] This includes two options requiring the transformation kink to be unlocked,[25][26] one option that requires both transformation and vore to be unlocked,[27] one that requires the inflation kink to be unlocked,[28] and a general makeout option.[29] For most of these except the last, if you overdo it on stamina loss, you'll return to a familiar permanent end.[13] But if you do so on one that merges you with Waffurd's tool,[27] you'll remain as such years in the future where the rat has gotten into a relationship with Burchill and also introduced the tiger to a restrictive chastity kink outfit.[30]
Another working session will have Waffurd attempting to restock some of the bought clothing and getting lost in the sections of the store. Also, Burchill is around again.[31] He apologizes again for slowing you down and is depressed with the thought he isn't cut out for this kind of work. He admits to getting mad in the past whenever Rutherfurd asked him to help with some small things and he wants to work harder to let his dad focus on his clothier work.[32] At least the big rat is good at dealing with customers, as long as he isn't asked to clean anything. And there's Burchill digging around in one of the clothing bins, but he scampers when you try to confront him.[33] All Waffurd cared about during that scene was the tiger's big behind sticking up in the air while he was digging in the bin.[34]
So long as you've already had a child, such as with Boruk or Vandeel, Jar arrives at the shop requesting the fixing of a piece of jewelry and Waffurd speaks with him about the sexual things they plan to do with Rutherfurd. The imp puts you in a situation where you or him end up spilling the beans about your child producing capability, of which the rat is quite interested.[35]
