Geve is the canine town guard for the East Gate in the visual novel GameOver. Somewhat hyperactive and always friendly, his personality doesn't quite match his stoic demeanor when seen from afar. He is quite happy to make a friend and just wants to spend time with you, whatever that entails. He has one Bad End to discover.
Background
Originally from a village of similar dog people before he came to the town to become a guard, his tribe were very into using scent to communicate friend from foe.[1]
Questlines
Meeting An Exuberant Puppy
You first meet the cheerful and radiantly happy guard with the serious resting face at the East Gate. Geve discusses how bored he is guarding the gate, as people rarely come around, and he much prefers patrolling the town center and the markets.[2] He informs you that a lot of people are talking about your arrival and the arrival of the "one nice guy" who wished him well, but has gone missing since he showed up after you, but via the East Gate. The unknown guy seems to smell more like the guards, specifically the canine ones, while you smell "interesting" and different from everyone else in town. Geve laments that most of the dog guards that used to be at the town are gone now, though he's not quite sure why.[1]
To get closer to him, you must have opened up the capability to deal with musk, which will allow Geve to suggest that, since Captain Ran told him to not socialize with others while working, you can both hide in the supply closet and sniff each other. And maybe some licking.[3] He is a bit confused after, however, on why he likes your smell so much, as if he's being made to like it. Wondering if you do magic or have a spirit attached to you, he regardless is interested in continuing your secret time together.[4] So much so that he just openly propositions you the next time you speak to him, saying he hadn't mentioned it before because Ran told him to not be so immediately forward or he would scare people away.[5] You also confirm that the both of you are friends, exciting Geve and having him want to hang out with you more when he's off-duty.[6]
While not able to go all the way because other people show up, you're nevertheless able to have some fun with Geve the next time you both sneak off, with two play variations occurring.[7][8] He absolutely had fun with you after, but also just wants to explore being best friends together.[9] Though be careful you don't become too lustful or you might end up becoming Geve's permanent roommate, with some dialogue and scene differences if you have the mpreg trait unlocked.[10] Once you've experienced this alternative life, the next talk with Geve will have him suddenly kiss you, remarking that he felt like kissing you the way mates like his parents did. He's interested in becoming so in the future and maybe having some pups.[11]
On Gate Sniffing Duty
After you've done the above, along with having beaten Iron and received Captain Ran's approval to work with the guards,[12] and have met Bruax,[13] Geve will happily inform you that you're now allowed to stay with him more openly at the gate. He looks forward to some mutual sniffing, but then gets a bit confused, having thoughts of doing things with you that he has never had before, and wonders if he was affected by the demonic forest barrier.[14] So long as you've spoken to Oscar,[15] Geve will let you know that the healer cleared him of any problems and he just needs to get off more to stave off any ill effects, something you could possibly help with.[16] Guarding with him has the big dog note that you smell different and he gets up in your business to determine you taste different too in a good way and he start molesting you more. You are actually not interrupted much by the arrival of Dirk, who makes some choice commentary, and finally gets Geve's attention by the mention of Captain Ran. He does give the big lunk the idea of having you come to his house to play where you won't have to care about others.[17] Enjoying having smelled you, he thinks you need to do it more until his scent sticks to you properly. He also really wants you to go home with him.[18]
Next session has Geve wonder if you've been going to the gym, since you smell like Vic. He decides to fix this problem with his tongue and invites you to do the same in his massive pecs.[19] He's very excited after this about both of your scents getting on each other.[20] You fail to protect your behind in your subsequent encounter, which Geve goes after with gusto.[21] He thinks it tasted good and asks if you want to do the same to him.[22] Deciding on something simple, he wants to make out with you next, so say goodbye to your ability to breathe.[23] He's a bit annoyed after though at how bad you were at dealing with his tongue, seemingly remembering you being better at it. But you've never made out like that before, right?[24] Trying again, you're able to do quite a bit better, but do end up choking eventually.[25] He looks forward to doing more of the same with you when gate traffic is low, leaving you wondering if there's any way to have someone teach him to hold back more.[26] Finally, you're experienced enough to go as far as Geve wants to in your makeout sessions.[27] Thanking you for humoring his desires, he admits that everyone else tells him to stop when he tries his attempts at affection.[28]
The Doggo's Sex House
Finally deciding to go home with the doggo, Geve will insist on sleeping in the same bed and will feed you plenty. You have your choice of activities as well.[29] Trying to take sniffing command still ends up with the hunk on top of you going a bit farther than that.[30] He will note after that you taste like a friend he's had for a long time. He also wants to go on proper dates with you.[31] Choosing to hug leads to another make out session[32], which then leads him to think about knotting you and using a harness Ran has to keep him connected to you for a long time.[33] And, unsurprisingly, choosing to do some more intimate licking leads to just that,[34] which just leaves him wanting to do more.[35] After each night with Geve on these choices,[36] you'll be woken up with kisses and sent on your way so Geve can go help out at the tavern.[37] He did like having you sleep on top of him though, leaving you open to his nightly licking attacks.[38]
Once you've completed all three other sleeping options, you can ask Geve to sex you up all the way, which he will happily comply.[39] If you do not have the mpreg kink active, then you will wake up somewhat normally, if extremely bloated.[40] Otherwise, if you do have it active, Geve will keep on sleeping with some fatherly commentary, making you wonder if taking Azlos' potion has indeed made you fertile.[41] He'll be happy about the sex afterwards, wondering if Azlos has a potion of hiding so you can also do things in public.[42] He'll also concern you more by smelling your stomach and announcing "Yay" without explaining.[43] After this, if you have already discussed your egg-laying habits with mayor Sep,[44] sleeping with Geve in any of the original three options will have him notice afterwards that you've gone into heat. Something he will definitely take care of for you.[45] And the results come quickly the following morning, where Jar takes you to Oscar in order to birth your puppy eggs.[46] Happy to have puppies, Geve is still confused about the whole egg thing. He wants to be able to have children with you the normal way eventually and be able to be able to be out and about with you while you're pregnant. He wants to have you meet his fellow guard Boxer, though wants to make sure he doesn't get you pregnant as well.[47]
