Ethoras is a canine from the visual novel GameOver. Having been subjected to demonic energies in the northern forest, he has begun to undergo the corruption process, transforming him into his current more demonic canine look.

Questline

The Lonely Cursed Adventurer

With the task to deliver his test results from Oscar at the Healer's Office, you first meet Ethoras on the College grounds. While you had been told he was in the process of transforming due to demonic corruption, you're still a little surprise to see his demonic doggy self. Though he's not any stranger than many of the others you've met in the town. It doesn't appear he was given good news though, as he become a bit dour after reading the results you brought him. You can try to cheer him up with some light flirting though and he asks if you might hang out with him every once in a while, since he's confined to the College and no one wants to just chat with him unless it's about spirits and magic.

Greeting you, Ethoras explains that he's not allowed to go out in the town unless he's accompanied by guards. But at least that's more freedom than he used to have before the Order of Knights showed up. Diakor informs you that Steel is apparently planning on training him and says if you want to know why, then you should ask Ethoras directly. The doggy wishes he was more of a scholarly bent, since he's contained at the college, and he also seems to get bad looks from most of the people here due to his corruption. He asks if you wouldn't mind going out to the town with him so he can meet up with some people.

Your first walkabout has you travel to the Barracks to speak with Steel. He doesn't seem to be given any good news though and wants to just go back home after. He has another disappointing conversation with Commander Garthoz next. He then has a checkup with Oscar, which also has not good news for his condition, though Nel tries to cheer him up. He's less than enthusiastic the next time you ask him to hangout and he visits with Mayor Sep, who also doesn't have anything positive to tell him, though you remain unaware of just what Ethoras has been asking everyone. He requests some alone time so he can think things through.

The Really Horny Adventurer

The only way to progress with Ethoras beyond this point is to experience his bad end by running out of stamina in the overworld and not having any other bad ends with other characters taking priority. Just make sure you go to sleep to save your progress with Ethoras first! Only then will you fall unconscious, be found by Ethoras, and then somehow end up as a part of his body as he embraces his new demonic nature. As expected with your time reversal powers, Ethoras is very confused next you speak, referring to you as pup and believing you've had sexual interactions before when you hadn't. He quickly corrects himself, but does consider it a good idea and convinces himself it's for canine bonding reasons. To take full advantage of his future interactions, the mpreg kink needs to be unlocked. The first intimate encounter Ethoras has for you involves quite a lot of licking. He confirms that he doesn't know you at all despite his earlier confusion, but he's all down for continuing your sessions together.

It seems like Ethoras was finally given approval to act as a guard, as you get to go on patrol with him in town. Though his idea of patrolling seems more like being a tourist. He's really happy though. He questions about the guard straps he's wearing though afterwards, as people weren't looking at him weird while he was wearing them. Wondering if they're magic in some way, he decides he doesn't care because they certainly work, though you think to ask some questions to others later about them. His next patrol is through the forest, where he spends all his time eating berries. Makes you wonder how his reports to Garthoz are and whether you'll need to help the lion with some calming activities. Now he really wants Reynard to make him some sweet food. And gets excited when he learns you can cook. He then spends his time floating in the river trying to convince you to join him. Though he raises a good point about the river. This part is extra clear, but has no fish or anything else in it. Which is strange. You find Ethoras drinking a potion from Azlos afterwards and notice that it's a watersports potion.

Your final patrol has Ethoras tackle you, thinking you were playing hide and seek. He's really bad at this guard thing. Meanwhile, he thinks you're just bad at hide and seek. Ethoras wonders why you smell so much like him when you haven't done much, when so many others he's messed around with don't smell so much like him. He also mentions he's been made a part of Captain Ran's pack, supposedly because of Ethoras' "alpha" qualities. Apparently that means that when you suggest you both mess around, he decided to do so right there in a room in the college. And you nearly get caught too. He complains after about having to sneak over to the lost and found to retrieve his clothes. It doesn't sound like he learned his lesson though.

The following interactions requires the watersports kink to be unlocked, whereupon you can request Ethoras to mark you. He seems particularly energetic with the task and takes you out to the forest to complete it. He likes that you smell like him after, but also considers getting you a tattoo, piercing, or even a collar to make things more obvious. You manage to get Ethoras to agree to let you mess around with his behind, but he chickens out really quickly. Looks like you'll need to go at things slower.
