Konta is a husky cook from the visual novel GameOver. Having been rescued from the misty forest after an attack on his traveling group by a powerful demon, he spends his time recovering at the Healer's Office and enjoys spending time with anyone that comes to visit him. He has one Bad End to discover.

Questlines

A New Face

After having gotten approval from Ran to go patrolling with the guards once the player has defeated Iron in a fight[1] and after having met Oscar, unlocked the Healer's office,[2] and been intimate with him,[3] Bjorn will inform you about two new residents of the town. One being a new guard and the other being a rescued traveler from the outskirts of the misty forest.[4] Then after you've met the guard Boruk,[5], you can ask Nel about the rumor and the new resident of the healer's office.[6] The traveler is recuperating at the Healer's Office and Oscar lets you in to see him, but warns you that Nel has been telling him stories about you and so he thinks you're a hero as well. Luckily, Konta is a sensible guy and quickly understands that Nel just has a bit of an infatuation going on, but decides to keep calling you Hero to make the otter happy.[7]

He seems interested in why Nel considers you a hero though and says you are indeed fortunate to get through the forest unscathed, as his own trip through with a group of mercenaries didn't end well. The battles resulted in them being split up after a particularly strong demon appeared and Konta doesn't remember much past that.[8] Asking about his own background, the husky tells you that while he does enjoy a good adventure now and then, it's his cooking skills that he really wants to focus on. He sadly hasn't had the opportunity to do so since he arrived, with Nel being the cook for all three of them. The otter is quite good at it and the kitchen isn't built for large people like Konta, so he can't help much.[9]

Helping A Man About Town

Fulfilling Oscar's wish for Konta to get some fresh air, you can go on a stroll with him to various locations around town. While getting shaved ice at the Town Center, he comments on the number of people in town and explains that adventurers like to go to the unknown, making the town stuck in the mist a high target for such people. He is a bit more surprised at how well endowed almost everyone in the town is and says that Reynard has been visiting him with snacks during his recuperation and having him do "weird stretches".[10] Telling you about his interest in books and how Nel gets more for him since he doesn't have the energy to go out much,[11] his next outing with you, if you've been acquainted with Kiel and the Library,[12] will be a visit there to trade in some books. He makes a new friend in Kiel and looks forward to talking with the polar bear again,[13] though is sad that the collection is so small and hopes Kiel will be a happier librarian with a bigger collection in the future.[14]

Similarly, if you've met Vic[15], you both can visit the Gym where Konta is impressed at the large size of the equipment, though he isn't well enough to use any of it just yet. You both agree to come back when he's better, with extraneous unnecessary commentary from Vic in the background.[16] Somehow Konta is under the impression that Vic is a "lovely young man".[17] A visit to the Blacksmith only becomes possible after having repeated personal fun with Vandeel and having decided to be with him long term[18], along with chatting with him about your strangely close friendship[19] and seeing him suffer a catastrophic clothing failure[20] Vandeel ends up being very forward with Konta, flustering him, and Vince apologizes to you both.[21] But seeing Vince be so successful with such a small work area invigorates the husky to try to work more with Nel on cooking.[22]
