Bjorn is a bear construction worker and frequent patron of Garius's bar in the visual novel GameOver. In addition to trying to get you drunk whenever possible to potentially then lead to more intimate hijinks, he also serves as a source of rumors and hints about the setting and other characters. He has two Bad Ends to discover.
Questlines
Encountering A Bear
A simple patron of the tavern, Bjorn is quite clear at your first meeting that flirting is one of the primary things he cares about. And getting the opportunity to do more.[1] More than willing to take advantage of you, drinking with Bjorn when having high lust results in him getting more and more handsy the more he is interacted with. He is quite happy to encourage you to drink more.[2] Be careful his antics don't wear you out though or he will take you back to your room and decide to keep you.[3] A similar end will occur if you reach max lust while drinking with him.[4]
After this point, you can then find Bjorn while he's doing his construction work by the East Gate. He'll make comments the imply you both have known each other for a long time, but you've only been around for a couple of days. Right?[5] After that meeting, he'll be more open with you at the bar once you've encountered him on the job and will also use your drunkenness to sneak in a kiss when possible, though Garius yells at him.[6] He'll also get his snuggles in when he can.[7]
Keeping a Bear Busy
Over at the construction site, he wonders if you're also excited about the upcoming brothel building and he hopes you'll give him the "royal service" there.[8] He also complains about the lack of other guys around willing to bottom for him. If you have the musk kink unlocked, you get some variant dialogue during this conversation.[9] You also won't have to do much convincing to have him spend his break time with you hidden in an inconspicuous corner. The options available are for you to play around with his behind[10] or for him to play with yours.[11] And if you enjoy musk, then you can help cool him down personally as he's been sweating a lot during the day.[12] Your interest in the watersports kink will also have him try that out with you[13] and he jokes about it afterwards on what everyone else must think is keeping you so round.[14] Be careful you don't become too lustful during your play times with him though or he'll take you to the room again and you'll both spend many days in the future there together as you'll belong to him.[15]
A Bear Wants To Give You Cubs
Bjorn is also just as keen about the rumor grapevine while he's out on the job. He'll have heard about you getting freaky with Jar and his special nature[16] and informs you that he's pretty into the topic as well.[17] After drinking with him a few times[7] and having had that conversation with him, you can then remind the bear about just how hungry he is if the vore kink is unlocked.[18] Similarly, he hears about Rigur finding out about your child-bearing capabilities[19] after the minotaur asked him why the bear hadn't already taken care of you. Bjorn chastises you for not telling him you had taken one of Azlos' potions and contemplates getting a different one to increase his own liquid production.[20]
He seems to get more into the idea the next time you talk to him on break after an additional drinking session and says that he's going to try harder to make things happen. His mother did always want grandchildren, after all.[21] Once Bjorn has been informed about your potential capacity for children,[21] he may take it upon himself to get a little friskier with you the next time you drink with him.[22] He'll also have an additional public friskiness in the bar[23] once you've done public things elsewhere[10] and Vandeel might even join in if you've been friendly with him before.[24] Once he's potentially given you children, though time will tell, he becomes more loving and protective and hopes the other guys stay away from you.[25] Elsewhere, Bjorn can be run into while doing some work for Rutherfurd and gets a bit handsy before being interrupted[26], which he comments on regretfully later.[27]
So long as you've finished Bjorn's drinking events and have spoken with Mayor Sep about your new capability with Jar,[28] your next time drinking with the bear will have him be especially frisky even while out in public. It seems he's noticed that you've gone into heat and quickly takes you back to his room. After your coupling, you wake up with both of you at the Healer's Office, where Oscar whisks away your newly produced egg children. Bjorn tells you that he plans to have an entire village of kids.[29] If you've had his children, speaking with the bear while he's at work will have him happily greet you and lament that you're no longer lactating. He apparently asked Jar to let him know in advance when you'll be going into heat so he can take the entire day off for it.[30]
Rumors
The Rumors Are You
Bjorn will talk to you about rumors involving other people in town, particularly your own (often indecent) escapades with them, which he has heard about through the grapevine. These will usually require at least meeting said characters, though sometimes will require more extended interactions with them before any commentary from the bear will be unlocked.
He opens up his rumors by speaking about the mysterious hooded figure that was seen coming into town the same night you did, presumably the same unknown person renting a room in the tavern and known by Garius and the person who you encounter while doing your guard job at Azlos' shop.[31] He also brings up the rumors that have started about you and your attractiveness.[32] There have additionally been rumors flying about the forest you came in through and the monsters inside of it, with Bjorn assuming you know all about that and the mercenaries guarding the area, despite having seen nothing of the sort when you arrived through the fog.[33]
At The Tavern And Beyond
Once you begin working for Garius,[34] Bjorn will bring up your waitressing and your revealing uniform.[35] Then after you've unlocked sexual play scenes with Garius,[36] the bear will jokingly rib you about it.[37] The same will occur after playing with Reynard[38] and Bjorn will comment that he has only ever been allowed to touch the fox and nothing more, as he doesn't appear to be the type Reynard likes.[39]
Intimate interaction with Bjorn himself[2] will have him comment that while some residents have wanted him to keep his hands off of you, many more have wanted him to corrupt you completely so that you will be more open to interactions with them as well.[40] He also muses about the small "pet" that Azlos has acquired[41] after you begin doing work for the wolf.[42] While aware of your intimate activities with mayor Sep,[43] as he seems to be any time you get friendly with someone in the town, Bjorn is unaware of the exact nature of what you've been doing with the big cat and also thinks you're doing it just to get more favor for something such as buying a home.[44]
A bit surprised that you've been working out at the Gym,[45] since Vic closed it after the mercenaries arrived, Bjorn gives you an oblique warning about getting too close to the bird, referencing something that happened with the mercenaries and Vic, and also suggests you work on your behind assets.[46] After helping Shlar with the logging,[47] Bjorn praises you for helping speed up the eventual creation of the brothel.[48] Brief commentary on Vince[49] after helping him[50] and Ran[51] after you become an honorary guard,[52] he also comments that he looks forward to hearing about all the places you and Garius have done the dirty[53] once you start doing thing below the counter with him.[54]
To Farm And To Fight
After meeting Dirk and the centaurs,[55] Bjorn warns you to stick close to the man and away from the stallions, telling you the story of how the previous male worker there died after getting too close. He suggests that smelling female might help protect you, though that may also end up with the beasts killing you in a whole other way.[56] While he isn't going to risk getting too near the centaurs himself, he notes after you've met Bruax[57] that he'll be happy to help you out after you're been exposed for a long time to the creatures' pheromones.[58]
Once you've gotten to know Bjorn further at his construction job at the East Gate,[10] he notes that the rumors of your activities with many men are getting stronger, with people getting jealous of the time you've been spending with him. He thinks all of this will only help you out once the brothel is built and you start working there, according to him.[59] Bjorn is further surprised by you convincing Ran to let you go on patrol with other guards after you've beaten Iron in a fight,[60] pointing out that he doesn't necessarily hate the captain, but that Ran has thrown him in jail several times before for public intoxication and likely sexual commentary made toward the captain.[61] Unsurprisingly, even by the time you meet him,[62] Bjorn has already managed to have some flavorful personal interactions with Burchill from the moment the new waiter arrived.[63] After you've been approved for patrolling[60] and having been nursed by Oscar,[64] Bjorn will bring up the two new people in town, orc guard Boruk and rescued traveler Konta, though also unhelpfully go on and on about how he isn't quite capable of taking all of Varok's appendages and that the whole collar thing chaffs on his neck.[65]
