First encountering Vince at the Blacksmith shop, he informs you that he only does requested orders in the evening. You inform him that you're just looking around and he says he's glad there's still people visiting despite the fighting going on in the northern forest. And he's glad that it hasn't affected the cave he mines from in the west.
